Eoin Colfer and Matt Robertson introduce Anna Liza Madigan, a young girl who loves helping people. Her mother is a psychiatrist and her waiting room is full of kids who need help. Anna Liza is just the girl to lift their spirits – in surprising ways!

Anna Liza and the Happy Practice is a cracking book by two top class children's storytellers. Don't miss this family event, put together especially for the festival.

Eoin Colfer was born in Wexford and currently lives in Dublin. His first book, Benny and Omar was based on his teaching experiences in Tunisia. In 2001 the first Artemis Fowl book was published and he became a full time writer. The rest, as they say, is history. He is a former Laureate na nÓg and one of Ireland's best-loved children's writers.

Matt Robertson grew up in Suffolk, and spent most of his childhood drawing and creating characters. He completed his MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art in 2014, receiving a Distinction for his work. Matt is the winner of a Lara Jones Award and a Macmillan Children's Book Prize, and he was a finalist in the 'Waterstones' Picture This' competition. He lives with his wife in Norwich.

This event will be followed by a book signing, bookshop on site.
