Join Darina Allen, Ireland’s best-known food ambassador and the bestselling author of Ballymaloe Cookery Course in conversation with Sarah Maria Griffin, foodie, writer and podcaster as they discuss Darina’s long career as writer and educator. Continuing the theme of women’s culinary reflections, we will consider how food writing underpins recurring political projects and the theme of equality. Food and its role in the construction of individual, community and larger civic identities will be explored in what promises to be a fascinating discussion.
